The author, Rev Canon Robin Morrison has been a hospital, university and industrial chaplain, as well as working in parishes from Hackney to Southampton. He is now retired from his last job as the Bishops' Adviser for Church and Society in the Church in Wales. He is a University and school governor and on the board of Artes Mundi. Meanwhile, he writes novels and poetry.
