I am teaching a colored pencil class at the local art society, and was looking for various books that would give me some ideas for teaching landscape art.
I was VERY disappointed by Curnow's book. Though Ms. Curnow is a noted color pencil artist (and that's why I bought the book), I found the artwork itself in this book to be insipid, low-key color, not exciting at all. It offered no help for what I am teaching in this class.
And I found the small format of this book objectionable because it limits the reader's ability to examine the artwork in detail. Her instructions with each picture were limited.
Not worth buying; wish I had spent my money on something else.
