This book is the best and worst of novels. The writing is extraordinarily beautiful, lyrical, and even educational. DH Lawence has a way with words that is next to none. Yet, this story - I hate to admit it - is boring. I typically love the classics. It is generally all I read. This book is boring me to my core. I'll finish it eventually, but not with my normal zest for a literary classic.
