I am an ardent Richard Price fan and continue to be drawn into the most desperate lives of some of his characters. When I finished this novel I felt as unsettled from the ride along the downward spiral as the main character himself.
My only criticism was the condition of the book I received. It was so beaten up that I was holding it together with an elastic band by the end of the novel. It literally fell apart and could not be passed along to friends.
