Laid in is a 1992 Bogata presentation note in Spanish from the author, historian Eduardo Sáenz Rovner, to prior owner Murdo J. MacLeod (b. 1935), a Scottish historian of Latin America, who published extensively on the history of colonial-era Central America, the Caribbean, and the Atlantic world. Very slight soiling and rubbing to covers, with minor bumping to tips. The central theme of the text is the birth of powerful Colombian industrial interests that, since then, dominate key sectors of the country. In this stage, and through not very well-known activities, prominent protagonists of national history participated.
