Finally he can no longer tolerate the injustice; he joins the Y???h???tu???n (the Boxer Rebellion) to fight against foreign invaders. The Y???h???tu???n believe their L???ngf??? (spiritual amulets) will make them invincible against guns and cannons. But their battle against the coalition army fails and the Y???h???tu???n is betrayed by the Q+ng Court, which tries to have them eliminated.During this tragic time, B???-W??? is gravely injured.
