If you happen to be fond of Kiri Sings, or if you enjoy soft-focus scenes of the French countryside with occasional "floating head" cameos of a lip-syncing Dame Kiri as a backdrop to your listening, then this hybrid product is for you. But others should steer clear and instead choose the full two-disc audio recording (which in 2004 was cheaper and still available). The audio quality of the DVD is perceptibly inferior to the CD, which already suffers somewhat from the flattening effects of early-'80s digital sound.
