Teedyuscung participated in the Treaty of Easton, which resulted in the surrender of Lenape claims to all lands in Pennsylvania. Teedyuscung was murdered by arsonists on the night of April 19, 1763. This marked the beginning of the end of the Lenape presence in Pennsylvania. This biography of Teedyuscing was Anthony Wallace's first book, published in 1949.
