I love the Kelly Bear Books and curriculum. I've used the series almost 15 years now. I started out in second grade but for the last 4 have used it in kindergarten, as our population has changed. No matter the age, the students respond positivley and love it! When students return after being gone for sevearl years, they tell me they still remember Kelly Bear and the books. It's very rewarding to hear that. The teachers love it because I'm re-inforcing their expectations when I teach about behavior, choices and mistakes. I love the feelings books because I use it to teach a feelings vocabulary and the understanding of feelings. I can't imagine not having Kelly Bear. It meets our state standards for kindergarten classroom guidance perfectly. I'm looking for the DVD Life Skills 7 Set series from Kelly Bear because the Buerau for At Risk Youth, the KB vendor has discontinued it. That breaks my heart.
