Give Bollywood a Try
I'm generally not a fan of the types of movies out there in Bollywood (as well as many Hollywood), but I'll give it a chance if it seems reasonable.
This movie is about fighting through love... traditional family versus spousal. The boy's family is rich and powerful, the girl's family isn't so wealthy and they actually work for the rich ones. A definite question of overcoming tradition by embracing it with a modern touch.
To be honest, I'm not so into all the melodramatic moments surrounding the main conflict, but I will say this movie has a lot of laughs. Shah Rukh and Kajol are adorable together and make a convincing comical couple.
