Just another Wild Bill Davison recording. The fiery cornetist is in good form on this loose jam session date recorded at the 1973 Manassas Jazz Festival. Concert producer "Fat Cat" Johnson McRee has fun taking a couple of goodtime vocals, and trombonist Slide Harris also has one on "I Ain't Gonna Give Nobody None of My Jelly Roll." More significant are the solos of Davison and clarinetist Tom Gwaltney on the Dixieland warhorses.
