The entire author inscription reads: "May 77 Naiomi, here is our book finally. You were my hardest jurror to write about. You are so complicated and real and honest. Please read this book 3 times and then drop me a note. Remember I wrote this book not as I see you but as the other jurrors saw you. Your good & admiring friend, Victor" In addition, There is a color photograph included in the sale of a man holding a baby. The inscription on the back reads: "Oct 76 To Namio, This is David, your good friend Victor" The most exciting item about his book is that the previous owner and jury member (the sole holdout until the final votes) has made numerous notes in the margins that completely disagree with the statements written in the book. Here are some of the notes: "Cal never said this stuff" "This is very dumb I never said this" "Never said this" "It never bothered me I had a daughter" "Pure and simple bull" "Bull" "Baloney" It would appear that the author got some things very, very wrong and totally incorrect. The person to whom the book is inscribed was the sole hold out on the jury, making the inscription more interesting and significant. No Library of Congress Number or ISBN noted in the book.
