The prophetic reading of Judges will at once convict (John 16:8-11) modern-day Christians to "test and see" if they are in the will of God. Judges was written to provoke all those who call upon the name of the Lord to ask Him to give them the power to overcome this world and its temptations - lest they find themselves defeated and swept away by the evil rulers of the unseen realm, which are those powerful satanic beings and great evil princes of darkness who rule this world (Ephesians 6:10-20). This 21st Century Commentary will draw prophetic parallels between the time and place of the period of the Judges and our present time and place.
