'How'd you end up in prison?' 'It's a long story,' Joseph replied. 'I got all night.' Joseph paused... Perhaps changing the subject would bring him some relief, if only for a moment. 'Where do I begin?' A trip to New York University with his brothers was supposed to be a dream come truehis entrance into the new world. Instead, Joseph's betrayal by his jealous brothers sends him to jail for a terrible crime he didn't commit, and truth of those fateful events haunts him long after he is released from prison. Besides being labeled a felon, Joseph is also Jewish and finds no cultural acceptance or compassion for his situation as he searches for a job. One thing Joseph does have is God and the words of his father. 'The Lord has special plans for you. You were chosen to do something great.' Visions in the form of dreams tell him that his father may be correct. The chance meeting of a former acquaintance years earlier leads Joseph towards the existence his dreams once promised; only now the result is a prosperous life of service and love that Joseph never imagined. But he must decide to follow God down a path of forgiveness or live in the past. With the help of a new love, Joseph follows his heart and begins The Journey Home.
