Add this copy of John Wesley Hardin: Texas Gunman to cart. $9.97, very good condition, Sold by mark henderson rated 4.0 out of 5 stars, ships from Olathe, KS, UNITED STATES, published 1957 by William Morrow & Company.
The author wrote this book in 1957, and actually knew F.M. Fly, who was still a justice of the peace in 1956 and was a wide eyed lad when Hardin was battling the state police, and a deputy sheriff when Hardin was released from prison, so he had much information stored in his memory.
He also was able to procure scores of letters and documents from Hardin's descendants which added to the accuracy of Hardin's accounts.
