Seller's Description:
Fair. The item is very worn but continues to work perfectly. Signs of wear can include aesthetic issues such as scratches, dents, worn and creased covers, folded page corners and minor liquid stains. All pages and the cover are intact, but the dust cover may be missing. Pages may include moderate to heavy amount of notes and highlighting, but the text is not obscured or unreadable. Page edges may have foxing (age related spots and browning). May NOT include discs, access code or other supplemental materials.
John Shaw is one of those rare writers on photography who can and does actually take superb photographs. This book would be worth owning even if all the text were deleted and the photographs alone remained. The frosting on the cake is that John is also as apt with a pen as with a shutter release and the amount of high quality and extremely useful info contained in this and his other volumes is worthy of a five star rating any day of the week.
Whoever said, "Those Who Can't Do, Teach" quite obviously had never met John Shaw.
