Among the many albums released in 2012 to commemorate the centennial of John Cage's birth and the 20th anniversary of his death, this Brilliant recording is a stand-out for a number of reasons. The first is that the repertoire is pretty obscure and some of these pieces (or reconstructions) are recorded here for the first time.
