Passing on a great book
I had read this book years ago and it became a book to which I have returned over the years. Recently, I sent a copy of the book to a friend who is a fellow fly-fisherman. His comments back to me echo my thoughts:
"Also, I finished 'Joe and Me'. What a heartwarming and wonderful story!! I did not have a fishing mentor like that but wish I did. What?s neat about it is that those lessons and appreciation for nature will be passed on to someone else. I remain very grateful that you gave me that book. It made a real impression on me."
