Interesting Read
Jesus Through Middle Eastern Eyes is a useful and interesting study of Jewish and middle eastern customs during the time of Christ. It is helpful in understanding what the words of Christ meant to the Jewish listeners of the first century. The book is packed with information and is detailed but it is not a difficult read. Everyone will find interesting and insightful information. This is an excellent book.

Eye-opening
This is the most interesting book I have ever read. We in the New World have little idea of the culture and thinking of Jesus' Middle Eastern world. How what he said and did affected the thoughts and reactions of the people who were living in his community. Bailey really opens these curtains with his experiences, research and opinions.
