Sweet book, hsunting
This is a wonderful book, very moving. The reviewer before me did a great job outlining it, so I'll just say it's a longtime favorite, I was a little girl when I first read it, and would recommend it to readers of all ages.

About Jennie
Jennie is a book for all ages, for those who love cats to those who aren't sure. This book starts out with a lonely little boy, who only wants a friend and ends up transporting you to a new life experience. It is written in the first person, so as I read the book, I became Peter, who suddenly found that he was a cat, lost and alone i... n an unknown world. Then he meets Jennie, who becomes his teacher and friend. It is she who teaches him how to be a cat, to wash, to hunt and what the rules of this new feline society are. Things he needs to know if he is to survive. Come and live life through their eyes. I don't think you will ever be able to look at a cat quite the same.
