I don't know that these books are published for coloring or research purposes. Ive bought them for coloring. This is some of the best paper Ive had the pleasure of coloring on. Nicely illustrated, true to form by Ming Ju Sun. I wish the 'Japanese woodblock designs', had been print in the same style, of line drawing vs graphic design, my loss. I am however enjoying coloring this particular title.
