Seller's Description:
Very Good. No Jacket. This is limited edition number 5 of 1500 copies produced and it is bound in full leather as called for for the first 100 copies in this edition. Included are letters from P. Barlow to Bradlow, who refused to write the foreword as Struik insisted on omitting passages from the book. Also included are the passages which were omitted. The boards are lightly shelf rubbed, with some very mild surface damage to the leather on the spine and edges of the boards. This is almost unnoticeable, and the boards remain strong and square, the binding elegant with bright gold gilt to the front and spine. Internally, there is mild tanning and foxing throughout, but there are no other markings or inscriptions, and the pages within are crisp, clean and complete. Beautifully and securely bound. JK.
