Jack Sheldon does indeed sing on this small-label CD, but fortunately, he also plays quite a few worthwhile trumpet solos. Joined by a big band mostly arranged by Tom Kubis, Sheldon sings and plays spirited renditions of 13 standards, including "Don't Worry 'Bout Me," "There Will Never Be Another You," "Just Friends" and an uptempo "Oh, Lady be Good."
