The purpose of the monitoring was to: * assess condition of individual foxes; * replace radiocollars or affix new radiocollars as required; * establish a "sentinel" group of unvaccinated, radiocollared animals; * vaccinate foxes against canine distemper virus and rabies; and * estimate density and islandwide population size
