Signed presentation from Genthe on the front endpaper: "To Stella Wanger-with greetings from an old friend-Arnold Genthe, New York, 1929." Stella Wanger [1866-1931] is the mother of famous Hollywood producer Walter Wanger [1894-1968], who launched the careers of many famous stars, including Elizabeth Taylor, Henry Fonda, and Richard Burton. Wanger's sister, Beatrice-a dancer, was the subject of some of Genthe's photographs. Very Good (some spotty light discoloration front cover, contents clean & tight). $500.00.
