The idea of 'Free Trade' is laudable, but this is a World of too many unscrupulous and greedy people to let it work and our Country is being 'taken to the cleaners' trying to make it work. Almost broke with twenty trillion dollars of debt, all from trade loss and imports of illegal drugs since 1975, what more proof do we need? Our Budget deficits (fourteen trillion dollars since 1975) in case you think the debt is from that, has been covered by deliberate inflation (2% per Year or eight trillion dollars) and by stripping pension funds of their cash (five and a half trillion dollars). Then, if we say those that are cheating us can't sell their products here, we end up with a positive balance of payments! As for eliminating entire industries, that, from a National Security position, makes no sense either so there has to be some level at which we say no more and we are there in multiple industries. What we need is some of that common sense for which Americans are meant to be famouse for!
