A class is structured as follows: GATHERING Around God 's Word Welcome and View Video Part 1- presentation of material by a scholar Discuss video ENCOUNTERING God 's Word in the Text Discuss daily reading assignments Interpretive exercise concentrating on one focal passage EXAMINING God 's Word in Context View Video Part 2 - provides context through archeology, history, art, etc. Discuss video presentation and commentary GOING Forth With God 's Word Discuss Mark of Discipleship Closing prayers The Planning Kit will consist of one video (DVD and VHS formats), one Leader's Guide and one Participant's Book.
