This novel was poor. These finales to the mini series tend to be poor, but this is the worst yet. They chose Cat, the most annoying of the four, to narrate. There are som serious plot holes. Also the reader might end up feeling sorry for Cat's dead adoptive mother more than Cat.
The girls are quite dumb in the story. Cat's mom dies and they bury her in the backyard. Do they really think anyone wouldn't notice? Don't they wonder why a woman under fifty and in good health would just drop dead? The girls think only about themselves, which will turn off the reader.
