Easy to read. Not much new information about life in the Middle East, but still interesting.

Fascinating Life
Before 9-11, Carmen Bin Laden was the sister-in-law to the religously fanatical Osama Bin Laden. Having grown up in Europe and married into a powerful Saudi family, Carmen lived a life of two cultures. In Europe, she is free to shop, entertain and travel. In the Saudia Arabian desert, she is cloaked in black robes, with her face concealed and her freedoms non-existant. Though she loved her husband, her wealthy life is far from perfect. She fears for the lives of her daughters and also for herself. Carmen leaves the Bin Ladens and her adopted country to save her daughters from adult life in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This is a fascinating account of the life of the wealthy Bin Laden family and the extremes of the Saudi culture.
