During the last 15-years of my railroad career and since my retirement in December 2011, I have become radically aware of just how much railroading has changed! One day it occured to me that young railroaders and railfans today will NEVER experience REAL RAILROADING! Hopefully this volume will give you all a glimpse of what railroad employees in North America experienced, and you will note the changes that have taken place, for better or worse, as the industry has modernized.
