During the last 15-years of my railroad career and since my retirement in December 2011, I have become radically aware of just how much railroading has changed! One day it occured to me that young railroaders and railfans today, probably will never be able to experience REAL RAILROADING! Hopefully this volume will give you a glimpse of what railroaders in North America experienced and you will note the changes that took place, for better or worse, as the industry "modernized." Come on along; but pack a big lunch, as soon we will no longer be allowed to stop en route and eat!
