Unlike books that merely present the technical aspects of setting up Eucharistic devotion in a chapel or parish, In the Presence of Our Lord: The History, Theology, and Psychology of Eucharistic Devotion focuses on how the Blessed Sacrament has been a source of comfort and faith for countless Christians. A book that will inspire as well as educate and inform, In the Presence of Our Lord is an invaluable guide for all who would keep watch with Christ.

Eucharistic Adoration History
This book is an excellent history of eucharistic adoration in the Roman Catholic Church. It covers the subject from its beginnings within the mass, itself (at the elevation of the sacrament) through to present day perpetual eucharistic adoration (24/7). It covers criticism of this devotion and supports of the devotion, as well. Altogether an admirable work.
