It is essentially the same novel.It is a Christian adventure, tainted by temptation and revenge, and a potential love story. Long ago in a land faraway, the Nephilim ruled. Lucifer roamed the earth with his dragon Azrael, which means retribution. After the dragon had laid siege to the fields of a landowner, the ruling Nephilim, Anak went in search of the beast, not knowing it was Lucifer's. In slaying the dragon, Anak made a powerful enemy of Lucifer. So, even after he died many years later, Anak was plagued by the vengeful Lucifer who follows him throughout heaven and hell, even the universe seeking revenge. As Anak and his angel friends and even a human soul aid him in his travels they eventually arrive at a solution to the dragon. All references from scripture are taken from a variety of sources and rephrased to keep in line with the story's content and still preserve the intent of scripture. There are some scenes, which are not appropriate for young children, as I took liberties with the Song of Songs. While not explicit in sexual content, they do suggest certain actions, which are taken in part from the Song of Songs or Song of Solomon. So, please use your discretion if under age 18. This is book one of three: 1. In the Here and Now, 2. In the Before, and 3. In the Beyond. In the Before you enter the past when the universe began with the Cherubim, Seraphim and angels, as well as the principalities and powers. In the second book, the lives of the main characters are revealed. Anak's mother and her fallen angel lover, Andras followed by Anak's birth. This second book tells of their adventure as they serve Adonai or go their own way. In the Beyond you are taken into the future beyond Here and Now as the cast of characters travel throughout the universes, creating new worlds and experiencing the disappointments, struggles, and tragedies of life that follow along with the joys of enjoying creation with the Creator.
