The Author is excellent-but the story she had to work with is weak. It is an apt title because the story is "a shadow". If you are interested in the lives of the idle rich who doing nothing all day except try to convince everybody else that they are important, then this book is for you. If you want to read about someone more accomplished, then you will want to pass.
