Rival companies Terra Luna (CEO Gerhard Steele) and Moon Corp(CEO Stan Duncan) each have been competing for the first vacation destination on the lunar surface, with Terra Luna well in the lead. After an accident damages Terra Luna, The Moon Corp CEO takes a bold move to start construction of their resort using technologies on hold for safety testing. Charlie Porter's advances in solar Technologies have been tabled and he has been recently laid off from MoonCorp. His friend Nick Nicholas, also affiliated with Moon Corp, has developed an untested lunar meteorite defense technology that is re-visited in the wake of Terra Luna's accident. After testing the young friends are re- hired as construction begins on the safer, better choice for lunar vacations-Moon Corp. Terra Luna's CEO is angry and jealous that his multi-billion dollar resort is bordering on ruin. After an unsuccessful attempt to buy the new defense tech form his rival he employs Leslie Davis to infiltrate the Moon Corp organization to steal information to implement at the disabled Terra Luna. During this time we learn that the damage caused to Terra Luna was due to a strangely undetected space faring rock crashing into the resort. Nick and Charlie are in communication with their friend Ed Zonic working for Terra Luna. With his help they begin to piece together the additional biological problems caused by the incident, the appearance of a volatile insect infestation. Dr. Nicholas's experimental work in the cyclical solar effects upon the Earth over time, in development during the lull in the MoonCorp resort, comes into play to solve the unusual alien problem.
