This edition is good enough to get through a class that wanted the new, very expensive edition. However, the new edition has new illustrations in color and has added and subtracted some important information, so if you rely greatly on the textbook compared to in class notes, you should probably buy a newer version. If not, this is a great way to save tons of money on textbooks.
