It was kind of jumbled when you first start reading. Then it gets better. It is funny to read what she had to do to get where she is today.

Something old, something new
Interesting memoir about women and the body image issues that plague us all. The author writes a really funny blog called Pound, which is where I first read her work. I like her writing style; she's very smart and funny. I get the impression that we would be friends if I knew her in real life.
The most interesting parts of the book, for me, were about her blog: how she decided to start an online journal in the first place, and the ways in which her life is different now that she is "famous." She clearly is weirded out by the idea that she could become a "celebrity" of sorts just by writing about her life on the internet, but she handles it all with grace and class.
In the end, the book doesn't say anything about weight or self-esteem or happiness that you haven't read a million other times, but the author has a relaxed, funny writing style and her experiences were definitely interesting. In short: I liked it, but didn't love it.
