Born in Drumlish, Ireland in 1893, Frank Quinn emigrated to New York and worked as a policeman. At night, he fiddled and by 1921 "Patrolman Frank Quinn" was making records. His singing, fiddle and accordion make an instant time machine to a 1920's Irish house party. One cut was even made on wire recorded at a house in Detroit.
