I wanted my daughter to have something like this book which highlights a black royal family and also offers pages with alternate hairstyles for the Queen and Princesses. It is important for little black girls to have representation where the main characters look like them. It is also very important for little girls of other ethnicities to see positive representations of black characters to that they can be normalized. So with that in mind, no matter what background your little girl is from, this book is for them! As just not to entertain, your little girl will also be able to practice handwriting of numbers and letters, counting, and silhouette matching. I hope you and your little girl find enjoyment from this and future coloring books that I come out with.
