For anyone not knowledgeable about communism and World War II this should be an eye opener. Even as our ally against Hitler they were already our enemy.
John Noble found out the hard way. He and his father were held by the Nazi government in Germany at the start of World War II. When the communists entered Berlin they captured John, but decided to send him to Siberia instead of turning him over to the American authorities.
His story shows the true face of communism and the horror it was, not only for him, but for so many milions caught in its grip. It should not be forgotten as it continues today in places like China.
I had the honor of meeting John in 1968. He passed away only a year ago.
