I ordered this book for a class in National University's screenwriting program. The instructor is a producer who works at William Morris-Endeavor, and told us about how John Anderson reviewed their first film, and freaked out because there was no synopsis, teaching the instructor that many reviewers (Anderson is Variety's), don't even watch the film, they just review based on logline or synopsis. The book thus lacks credibility, and is outdated besides. But it was our textbook, so I had to get it, and did, on time.
