This organizational and molecular approach helps the beginning understand the strengths and weaknesses of drugs both in comparison with each other and in certain clinical conditions. Over 400 full-colour illustrations, including figures and model mechanisms, reinforce basic and clinical concepts. Material is current, with changes reflecting today's pharmacotherapy.
