Historical fiction is probably one of the most difficult tale to write. It has to be entertaining and keep with the chosen time period. The subject requires plenty of research and Wooley offers a few tips on how to properly research. Most of the advice is general knowledge, but the book is well organized. Wooley explains things in a clear concise manner.
