Helpful for British viva
This book help me structure my viva preparation, which made the whole process a lot less stressful. It gave advice that was relevant regardless of when you were picking reading it - a year or a day before your viva.
While I imagine some of the advice would be useful to an American oral defense, it is primarily intended for the British-style viva voce exam.
