I've never been a fan of the middle book in trilogies they more often than not seem to be filler for the story, little happens to advance the main story and it often mirrors what happens in the final book. House Harkonnen isn't your usual middle book. It is just as vital to the story as the other two books and will leave you captivated with the story from beginning to end.
