Alan Frank alsways delivers on his material. I have yet to come across a bad work. As always he handles horror as an artform. Its nice to see someone giving the genre the respect it deserves. The chapters are well broken down and the index in back makes it simple to track down a movie. As always there are pictures and most are in color. Naturally the black and white films aren't in color. This book is great for true vintage horror. If names like Oliver Reed, Peter Cushing, and Barbara Steele spark your interest then this is a must buy book. If scratching your head and not having any idea who these people are then this will not appeal to you.
