This small funny book, filled with words and pictures, conveys an important moral --- the fact that the best part of living is doing, feeling, being together. Sendak's vignettes, or big full spread tableaux are memorable, funny, accurate. I found this book after about 45 years -- thanks to Alibris, of course --- and it's better than I remembered, at the same time, some of those tiny vignettes are just the same. Good for children, but not a baby book -- fun to read with a little kid and to talk about what's going on --- Thank you Alibris! Thank you Miss Krauss! Thank you Mr. Sendak!
