At the close of the sermon, and after prayer, the choir sang the piece entitled "A Hundred Years to Come," after which was the usual singing, closing the service with the benediction. The services of Sunday formed a fitting sequel to those of the Centennial proper. All felt that it was good to be there. So terminated our Centennial celebration--a season of great interest and profit. We are sure that the church and community will feel its influence for good not only now, but for years to come. Much of its success is due to the loving toil, generosity and enthusiasm of the Hon. H. G. Jones. Besides what has already been recorded, it was he who furnished most of the portraits for the occasion. He also gave two tablets on which the numbers of hymns used at public service may be made visible to the whole congregation, and manifested the deepest interest in the meetings. He will be long remembered with gratitude and affection by Roxborough Baptist Church. The church Committee on Centennial performed their duty with fidelity, skill and efficiency. The success of the celebration is their best commendation. In view of it all, we thank God and take courage..
