Seller's Description:
Very Good. No Jacket. 24mo-over 5"-5¾" tall. This is Volume Two only of Taylor's well-known history, which was first published in 1833. Brown pebbled cloth binding with copper titling on the spine (along with "The Family Library" and "No. 52"). Clean text, very clear and unfoxed; 372 pages, including Appendix. This is an ex-library copy, but the treatments are mostly salutary; aside from a label on the spine and evidence of perhaps a removed pocket on the rear paste-down, the front paste-down has an attractive label dated 1883 detailing the Rules. Lightly bumped and with a little rub to the spine lettering. A cute copy, very solid.
