To all, please discover the mentioned "The University Players theater Guild" (UPG) 1928 - 32, Old Silver Beach - Falmouth, Massachusetts, co-founded by Charles (Crane) Leatherbee (my uncle) and Bretaigne Windust. Majority of actors, directors, and related assistants were under-graduate and/or recent graduates of ivy league (Harvard, Princeton, Yale, etc.) and the seven sister (Radcliffe. Vassar, Barnard, etc.) schools. Notable members that were later successful in Broadway theater and Hollywood film, and alike: Henry Fonda, Margaret Sullavan, James Stewart, Joshua Logan, John Swope, Myron McCormick, Kent Smith, Barbara O? Neil, Mildred Natwick, etc. many hired famous agent and producer Leland Hayward to further their careers, and maintained a close relationship.
